THE FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING is used for the customisation of all automatic paper and plastic bags, for wrap paper, adhesive labels. In FLEXOGRAPHY the ink is transferred onto the paper (or plastic) support by means of the flexographic printing system. This ink, being water-based, tends, due to the combination of colours, to become darker if used on a dark base with the exception of the colours ''silver'' and ''gold''.
ATTENTION: on paper shopping bags, except for CUSTOM SERIES models, the printing area is to be considered only on the two sides and is limited by the thicknesses created by the handles and side gussets. As far as 2-colour printing is concerned, it is not possible to print graphic elements of different colours in contact with each other, therefore it is advisable to contact our company before completing payment to assess feasibility. This limitation is not present on CUSTOM SERIES models.
The graphic draft to be approved will be produced free of charge by our graphics department once the order has been confirmed.

N.B. only the colour to be printed is taken into account, as in our examples above, and not the colour of the substrate (white if printing on white paper, coloured if printing on an already coloured substrate). In this case, for flexo printing, the printing colour must be darker than the substrate in order to be well defined. For example, it is not advisable to print the colour yellow on a blue substrate, because the yellow combines with the blue to become darker and therefore much less visible. In the case of substrates with dark colours (black, blue, burgundy, etc.) it is advisable to print with "gold" or "silver" colours which, being composed of more opaque pigments, guarantee a more defined print.
THE HOT FOIL PRINTING is done by transferring a glossy or opaque "film" called foil onto any surface. Since it is a coloured foil, it does not change colour according to the colour of the article on which it is printed. It is therefore possible to print a light-coloured subject (e.g. white) on a dark background (e.g. black).

THE OFFSET PRINTING is used for the personalisation of many elite paper bags and boxes. With this printing technique, jobs can be produced with the highest precision and without the limitations of flexographic printing. N.B. in this type of printing, white is not considered a printing colour because technically it is a printing interruption, therefore in the case of negative prints you will always see the colour of the support (white if you print on white paper, coloured if you print on coloured support).
THE SCREEN PRINTING is used to customise clothing, paper bags and shoppers and many advertising gadgets. The ink, being a varnish, is very opaque and allows printing on any support without changing when used on a darker background.

THE PAD PRINTING is mainly used for the customisation of advertising gadgets. This technique allows printing on irregular surfaces, concave or convex, of various shapes but also on flat surfaces. The ink is very opaque and has the advantages of screen printing. The graphic draft to be approved will be produced free of charge by our graphics department once the order has been confirmed.

N.B. The colour white for screen, pad and hot foil stamping, unlike offset and flexo printing, is considered a printing colour because the inks/foils have an opacity that allows printing even on dark substrates.
